Hey all! To all my normal OWH followers I hope you are recovering well after the big bunny hop! Lot's of great cards made just for our troops..it doesn't get any better than that! Today I'm blogging 3 different Sketch Challenges..yes, I finally got a good dose of mojo back! We are downsizing in prep for another PCS (military move) this summer so with a lack of clutter I am creative again!

OWH Sketch 59 |
This one was made for the
OWH S&S Sketch Challenge 59. I made it extra challenging by only allowing myself to use paper from my scraps. Yes, the really pretty flower paper was scraps! I am so terrible at just making one card and putting the rest in the scrap pile. The image is from The Greeting Farm. She was originally holding a pistol but I liked the letter and a '4 You' sentiment better. I used Soft Suede ink for a little distressing...okay maybe a lot!

FTL 130 |
Clean & Simple always has nice Sketch Challenges to play with. This
Fall to Layout 130 was created like my first card and made mostly from my scrap pile. I used the black bow to try and distract from the crazy pattern paper and draw the viewers eye towards the sentiment...did it work?

Well I hope you've enjoyed all the cards and I hope you are inspired to play along with one or all of the challenges! Have a great week!
WOW!!! These cards are GREAT!!! I LOVE the Greeting Farm image!!! The black ribbon on the last card definitely served it's purpose.. the dark color brings my eye right to the sentiment! And I like the layout on the middle card but I know if I tried it, the squares would be all off alignment... even with a ruler!!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE THESE!!!
Great cards! Your FTL card is stunning, the bold colors really POP! TFS :)
ReplyDeleteLove these cards, Samantha! Love the cowgirl holding the letter, so clever of you! Thanks for joining us in this week's OWH Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge!
