"On the farm" MWT

Hey there!  I've been stumped over this weeks S&S MWT "On the Farm" and a little amazed that I had no farm animal stamps!!  I dug through every stamp and even took a peak at my dusty Cricut Cartridges.  Nothing!  I probably spent the entire day Wednesday just looking for ideas online when I came across punched art animals. I didn't have all the punches used for most of the animals so I improvised with the sheep.  =)  Lots of fun but lots of work when you make 6 of these cards!!
Punched Sheep
Aren't they cute?  I always aim to make simple cards and although it may look so, this one was not!!  I hand cut the grass and had a lot of playing around with my punches to get things right.  Here's my helpful tip:  When doing parts like the front hair on the sheep, punch out a full scallop and attach one of those tiny strips of scraps from trimming paper to the back of it and use it like a handle to position back in your punch.  You'll get a perfect punch and not have to stress over wiggling it around.  Hope that made sense?!    I used a small scallop punch and small circle.  The 'ears' are a circle out of my daughters punches cut in half...not quite sure of its size but the brand was EK Success.  I used the SU Top Note Die and some gorgeous Twine from the Twinery!!  I love it's look and thought it went with the feeling of the card.

Well thanks for stopping by!
