OWH Hero Arts SKIP!!

Hey All!  Have you enjoyed all the beautiful cards along the skip!  Our OWH gals are pretty amazing!  If you are lost or just happened to stumble upon my blog you can visit the beginning by skipping back to the Stars and Stamps blog.

Here's my card.  I used the Year Round Sentiments set.  I love this set!  My papers are actually from a Halloween pack I bought at Impress.  Never let the theme of the pack hold you back!  I added some stickles and topped them with glossy accents to add some much needed embellishment to my card as well as a few star brads!

    You're so right about not being afraid to change the theme of a paper pack. I have a lot of birthday cards that I've made with Halloween papers. Thanks for sharing this darling card!

    Samantha.. what a great use of paper from a pack that usually gets overlooked because of the holiday it is marketed for. I am going to have to go look at some paper packs that I have to see what's in there that I can use on some cards. thanks for the inspiration. ~ Pam

    Ding! Ding! Ding!!! As soon as I saw PURPLE, I feel in LOVE and have to admit, this is very likely my FAVORITE! How could it NOT be, since purple is my Passion!!

    Lovely card -- a perfect color combination and nice textures!

    You are so right about not being tied to the theme of the pack. I've used Valentine' paper on baby cards and Halloween ribbons on generic autumn cards.
